I’m back! It’s been a while and I’m so grateful to be back in the swing of writing. I know that 2020 has been a very different year for us all and I have utilized my time to effectively retune, refocus & refresh. 2020 has been a real eye opener for me. It’s been the best year for me thus far in terms of mindset & my personal self development journey.

If you haven’t done so already, it’s always time to retune, refocus and refresh if you ever feel you’ve fallen off track with something, or you just haven’t quite felt yourself recently. During this blog post, I will explain the ways I have been able to do exactly what the title says.

Listen to Podcasts. This is my new favourite thing to do. Sometimes I question why I never used to listen to podcasts but my goodness, how they are a life changer if you listen to particular shows that help with self development!

I have been listening to the Mindset Mentor by Rob Dial on Spotify. IT IS A GAME CHANGER. I thank Rob for changing my life and my mindset. I don’t know Rob personally, but little does he know how he has effectively helped me to retune my mind and my way of thinking. You are what you think. It is that simple. In order to create a better life, you must retune your mindset to create it. Podcasts are amazing and I highly recommend the Mindset Mentor.

Having down days & not feeling creative or wanting to do much happens. But, there comes a time when you must refocus and get back into the swing of working hard towards your goals or just general day to day things. I’ve refocused on my writing journey & here I am with a new blog post. I feel inspired and ready to share what I know will help others in life. Once you feel inspired or motivated to work hard, it becomes habit to want to continue to do so.

How did I refocus on my writing, you ask? I read a few of my previous posts and remembered why I love writing. If you are a creative, I recommend looking back on your previous work, find that spark that you had when you were being creative, remember the feeling you get when you complete a project, feel that passion for what you truly love doing. If you aren’t a creative, find that reason to live your life everyday to it’s fullest potential and find happiness in the simple things.

Refocus on enjoying each day for what it is.

Remind yourself of why you do what you do, or why you have a passion & purpose. Remind yourself of why you are a great person with the best intentions in life. Hit that refresh button because you need to be reminded in order to be the best version of yourself. There may be days that aren’t your best, it may have been a bad day at work or you decided to cook something that didn’t work out how you wanted it to, or, you might have had an argument with a friend or a relative. If there is one thing I’d say, accept the day for what it was. Before you go to sleep, please reflect on your day. If you had a bad day at work, make sure that tomorrow you wake up with a positive mindset and try to have a better day. Your cooking wasn’t great? Maybe check some different recipes or work out what went wrong, so that when you do it again, it could be better. Had an argument with a friend or relative? Please try to make amends before you go to sleep, go to bed knowing that you do not hold any anger inside and that you are cool with that person.

Every single morning that you wake up, is a refresh. It is another chance to have a better day in all aspects of life so make sure you refresh yourself accordingly each time you wake up.

I hope the above helps you in whatever way, shape or form.

Even if there is one part of this blog post that helps, my job is done.

Live each day to create a better life for yourself and those around you.

Keep it Simple, Yeah?

Love B.
